Snetterton

Day 1: 1st May 2010
Unlike the previous two race meetings the test day was going to be split up into just 4 practise sessions during the morning and a 1st qualifying session in the afternoon. Something that Thundersport are now to adopt for the remainder of the season. Snetterton is well known for its two long straights and its fast circuit. In my two previous visits here, during my Superteen days, I’ve had a right mixed bag of fortunes from crashes to poor races and to podiums and this weekend was to continue in that trend.
Cadwell Park Testing

With certain issues with the bike I felt it was necessary to get test day in before I go to Snetterton next weekend racing. The weather conditions were near perfect and it was my aim to get out on both bikes as often as I could and try and see if we could improve the general feel of the bike. I had previously felt that at Mallory Park and Pembrey I had had suspension issues front and back along with brake fade. This contributed to my tyres not working properly.
Pembrey Round 2

Day 1: 10th April 2010
After a full day of testing on my RRV 450 I was pleased to wake up to glorious sunshine and idyllic views of the Welsh Mountains. With conditions as good as perfect, the weekends racing on the very fast and sweeping Pembrey circuit, was going to be very challenging. But I was hopeful for some good results following Mallory Park. Although the setup of the bike was still not perfect I was confident of being able to compete for podium positions once again.
Mallory Park Round 1

Day 1: 13th March 2010
I have woken to grey skies and a cold easterly wind. It’s been raining during the night and track conditions are totally different from yesterday.
It’s the first qualifying session of the season and I am very aware of the importance to get a good qualification for my four races this weekend.
Qualifying didn’t go particularly well, I was a little unsure of the tyre/bike setup for the difficult circuit conditions, however, with a time of 1:02.125 it put me in 6th position on the grid.
