I did the Friday’s test day at Pembrey to give me a good idea of the circuit and warm up ready for my weekends racing. Throughout the day I became more consistent and looked in a good position to challenge for a top ten place in the four races over the weekend.

Submitted by admin on Thu, 08/07/2008 - 10:06.This was only a one day meeting but it was a day to score points to try and make me catch up with my other competitiors in the championship. The morning of my race i had new tyres to be fitted as in the blistering heat to come i new my old tyres wouldn't of lasted my qualifying session. I qualified 16th out of 32 riders which was quite a could place half way but the place on the grid was going to be tough to get a good line for the first corner so i had to get a good start to stop others from over taking.

It wasn’t immediately apparent what conditions I would race on Friday as the superteens paddock area was enclosed within the exhibition centre at Donington Park.
