This weekend i would be without my mechanic Andy Machin due to family commitments.
The Fridays test day went really well and the weather was amazing and after getting to grips with gearing and picking my confidence up from the last few rounds i felt good for the next days qualifying and racing.
In qualifying it was hectic as the track is quite short and with over 40 riders out you're bound to hit traffic. I had to get within the front two rows and at the beginning my lap board had P9 out so i looked ahead and saw an opportunity for a quick lap as there was no-one else ahead of me to catch within a lap so the next time i came round it was P2 which was good enough then i hit traffic for the last 10 minutes and somehow stayed 2nd with only Lee Jackson going quicker than my time. Race 1 was super and although couldn't stay with the front two as they're bikes were really strong i managed to finish 3rd. Race 2 was a little different and after making a few mistakes i finished 5th with starting the last lap in 7th.
On Sunday in race 1 i managed to get into the lead then lost it and made a slight mistake which cost me dearly and ended up in me finishing the race in 6th. The final race of the day was amazing, i had a super start and was on the front group straight away dicing for 2nd and even the lead at times, then whilst lying 4th i lined up Lee and Wayne at Druids but the yellow flags were waving and i had to hold back and then the red flag came out which meant i finished 4th but i knew i could have easily finished top 3.
It was a great weekend and although Andy wasn't there to help i managed to ge through it with no mechanical issues. Bring on Anglesey!!

My friend has bought a YAMAHA R15 last week and he gave me that to ride. I was so delighted to ride that as this was the fastest bike I ever ride. I enjoyed it very much. Thanks for your sharing.
